SAVING PENNIES MONTHLY INCREASES YOUR BOOK BUDGET SO YOU CAN BUY MORE EBOOKS FOR LESS…
I want to save you money when you buy an eBook from me. I want to stretch your monthly book budget so you can buy more from your favorite authors. And here’s how:
I’ve always believed that in some instances, brick n’ mortar publishing have overpriced my books. I’ve had no control whatsoever in the pricing. Now, I do as an Indie author/publisher.
We are working on my website to set up an author-reader direct sale on all four major Ebook platforms later in 2015. This involves serious software and hardware changes at www.lindsaymckenna.com. We will have by October 13, 2015, a store (that is SSL certified, which means its safe for you to put your money in it).
You’ve been taught that you can only download your eBook from a specific platform, like amazon.com, kobo.com, bn.com or iBooks/iTunes. Well, we’ll teach you in a very simple step-by-step how to download my eBooks from my website directly into your eReader, your tablet, laptop or desktop. All of that information will be easy to understand and to do.
The bottom line is that you will to save money. It may be .49 cents or up to .99 cents. Because you buy DIRECTLY from me, I can afford to give you a bit more savings. This applies only to eBooks.
Unfortunately the cost for print-on-demand (POD) paperback books is the same (usually higher) for me as it is a brick ’n mortar to put one of my books out. The reason is the price of paper to create it and print it. Paper costs a lot of money. Printing costs money. And since I can’t order a print run in thousands of books, I don’t get the cut in price that a brick n’ mortar receives. My paperback books won’t drop in price because of this.
My advice? Stop buying paperbacks. The price isn’t going to go down from me the author or from the brick ’n mortar. Save a LOT more money, buy a Kindle from amazon.com and you’ll have more than enough to double your reading budget monthly. And you’ll have twice the amount of books to read as a result!
Let’s put it this way. Paperbacks are $7.99 plus. You can buy the SAME book from me as an eBook at $5.99 to $4.99, depending upon the word count. That’s a huge savings! Think about it.
